It is the 3rd anniversary of MoCHIP Day, MoCHIP Child Identification Protection and Awareness Day, in the state of Missouri. Please help observe this day by utilizing your social media (facebook, twitter, etc) to bring forth the importance of having your child/teen ID’d.
MoCHIP-Missouri Child Identification and Protection Program is Amber Alert compatible and has been instrumental in the recovery of seven missing children (in Missouri) since its inception in 2005. All of these children have been safely returned to their families.
In the event a child or teen goes missing, time is crucial to their recovery. MoCHIP provides an AMBER ALERT compatible mini CD with digital photos, fingerprints and the child/teen’s vital information and can be distributed to authorities in a matter of minutes.
This summer you will be on numberous family outings. We urge you to have your children/teens ID’d and keep them handy just in case.
