Ron Krueger, Sr.’s Full of Surprises!
During MOCHIP’s first official meeting of officers, coordinators and team members at the Grand Lodge of Missouri’s Conference this past weekend (Sept. 23), Past Worshipful Master Ronald P. Krueger, Sr. of Noble Lodge #684 and CEO of Wehrenberg Theatres quietly motioned State Coordinator, Nicholas R. Cichielo over. A short while later, it was revealed that Mr. Krueger donated another $25,000 dollars to MOCHIP to which he is an Ambassador.
Always a huge supporter of the program, Ron Krueger, Sr. listened intently to the trials and tribulations of the MOCHIP worker-bees as they discussed the program. Based on the necessity that became apparent, Ron decided on the spot to ease some of the burden by supplying new equipment.
“Their generosity is staggering,” expresses Nick Cichielo, Missouri Masonic Children’s Foundation State Coordinator, “But it is the heart behind the donation that truly means the most.”
In January 2007, Ron Kruger and his son Ron Kruger II (commonly referred to as Ron I and II) donated their first $25,000 dollars to MOCHIP in hopes of helping MOCHIP Directors reach their goal of processing 24,000 children in 2007–doubling the amount children processed in 2006. With 3 months to go, 20,405 children have been “chipped” and there is little doubt that their goal will indeed be realized, if not exceeded.
The Kruegers advertise MOCHIP on the silver screens prior to each movie, and host MOCHIP events in the lobbies of their theatres while getting local radio stations to take part in the festivities both on air and at the theatre.
Nick says it best, “We cannot thank them enough.”
Well “thank you” Krueger Family for your generous support in bringing a measure of protection to the families of Missouri and our neighboring states. We couldn’t do it without you!
